Hitachi buffer switch D4N-4A72 (original) is used to detect whether the elevator car has come into contact with the buffer. When the elevator reaches the extreme bottom or top position of the shaft, the switch triggers the safety circuit to stop the elevator control system, thereby preventing overshooting or bottoming out accidents and ensuring the safety of passengers and equipment.
