The Hitachi sensor RM-YA3 (normally closed DC19.2V¨CDC48V) is a safety sensor used in elevator door systems. It quickly responds when detecting obstacles, preventing the door from closing on people or objects. Under normal conditions, the circuit remains closed, but when an obstruction is detected, the circuit opens, triggering the elevator door to reopen and ensuring passenger safety.
