As the brain of the elevator, the LCB-II control board is primarily responsible for processing elevator signals, including receiving and executing commands, handling calls, managing floor displays, and responding to earthquake and fire operations, as well as controlling door opening and closing directions. Most input and output signals¡ªsuch as commands, calls, floor displays, power failure self-rescue, earthquake and fire responses, direction indicators, buzzers, hall bells, hall lights, and stop switches¡ªare transmitted serially to the mainboard via the remote communication chain.
